Vyšehrad is a station of the Prague metro on line C. Its platforms are at street level or above, in service since 9 May 1974.

How deep is Vyšehrad
The platforms are at street level or above – the metro does not run underground here. The track is at ground level next to the Congress Centre. To the north the ground drops into the Nusle valley, so the platform end by the bridge is about 12 m above the slope, and right after it line C crosses the valley on the Nusle Bridge.
Elevation: street 240 m a.s.l., track 240 m a.s.l. Depth is measured from the ground above the station to the track.

About Vyšehrad
Vyšehrad is a Prague Metro station on Line C, located at the south end of Nusle Bridge.
The station was opened on 9 May 1974 with the first section of Prague Metro, between Sokolovská and Kačerov. The station serves Vyšehrad and was formerly known as Gottwaldova (the previous working name was "Nuselský most"). It is near the Prague Congress Centre and the Corinthia Hotel Tower. Vyšehrad castle is also accessible from this station on foot.
